Yum!
From of Middlefield, Ohio on .

I eat this by the spoonful. So thankful to have this veganized.

tastes like cheese
From of wpg, Manitoba on .

It's so good just like cheese!!

Pretty good
From of Orlando, Florida on .

I tried this at ethos and it's pretty good. It tastes like Parmesan cheese, and if you're vegan or lactose intolerant, I would recommend it.

YUCK !!
From of ALBURTIS, Pennsylvania on .

Very disappointed in this product. It smells horrible and tastes worse. NOT worth the money. I don't expect vegan cheese alternatives to taste exactly like dairy cheese, but I do expect them to be tasty and enhance my cooking. I felt nothing but regret after adding this to my food.

EXTREME IMPROVEMENT AFTER 2012!!!
From of Seaford, Delaware on .

I submitted a 5-star review of this product several days ago (in Oct., 2015); however, after noticing quite a number of negative OLDER reviews of this product, I realized that NEARLY ALL of those were written BEFPRE 2013 (or, possibly, before LATE 2012), so I wanted to CLARIFY something for other potential consumers of this product:

The company CHANGED the formula for this vegan parmesan alternative TWICE toward the middle or end of 2011, so if you read a review (here or anywhere) with a submission date BEFORE 2013 (or possibly LATE 2012), that was BEFORE those 2 formula changes. Prior to those 2 changes, the original recipe, which I had been using for years, was "OKAY" (I would have given that version maybe a "2- or 3-Star" rating at the most. But then they changed it (which was the FIRST formula change) sometime in 2011, and the "new" product was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! I had been using the original formula product in creating many dishes for my cookbook, but this FIRST new change was so bad, I KNEW there was no way I could continue using the product in my recipes! In fact, I was SO upset and so VERY angry (that they'd reformulated something that was at least "OKAY" and turned it into something DISGUSTINGLY BAD, by ANYONE's standards!) that I wrote directly to the company--a SCATHING critique--complaining that the new formula was "HORRIBLE" and, honestly, nearly INEDIBLE! A representative of the company wrote back to me and told me they realized there was a "major" problem with that first formula change, and that their team was working on a SECOND formula change which, she assured me, would "blow my socks off" . . . and she was right! In fact, the company sent me, at no further cost to me, a case of the NEW FORMULA product to replace the previous case of the "inedible" product which I had actually tossed in the garbage (it was THAT bad!)! (Which, I thought, was a really nice (and SMART!) thing for them to do for me. And I was COMPLETELY thrilled with the new formula, and have been using it EXCLUSIVELY ever since!

So I just wanted to let people know that IF THEY TRIED THIS PRODUCT PRIOR TO 2012, they most likely got one of the BAAAAD recipe changes, and they should definitely give it another chance, because the current formulation of this product is FAR SUPERIOR to the former versions. Like I said, in my "somewhat picky opinion", this current recipe of this product is now the BEST-TASTING VEGAN PARMESAN ALTERNATIVE ON THE MARKET TO DATE!!! (And, no, I am NOT in ANY way related to the company, in case you were wondering...I'm just a regular consumer (and a foodie!) who believes this product's CURRENT formulation (and, hopefully, its LAST formulation FOREVER!) does not deserve the negative reviews it was given BEFORE the company drastically improved it; I hope you will try it, as the more people who try it and like it, the longer it will stay available to us all, instead of "disappearing" from the marketplace, as so MANY really delicious, if, perhaps, somewhat "transitional" products have done over the years! (You longtime vegans KNOW what I'm talking about!) Anyway, happy (healthier!) eating to all of you!!...Sincerely, DGL
