Batman five Superman: Dawn of Justice pits two iconic heroes against i another. That premise, when combined with the visual talents of director Zack Snyder, promises to be a swell looking film with lots of interesting design elements. This volume features concept art from the moving-picture show and highlights the overall look of the pic along with central design choices related to the characters.

As an constructive sequel to Man of Steel, Dawn of Justice maintains the design sensibilities of Snyder's previous Superman film. The picture very much wants to wait and feel like the real globe, with sites like the US Capitol making an appearance. The fictional city of Metropolis looks much like our ain modern-day urban population centers - with Lexcorp HQ Tower looming large in the skyline.

The wold of Batman, on the other hand, is a fleck more than stylized. Gotham is equally dark and dismal every bit it's ever been. Because this is Batman'southward first appearance in this story (The Night Knight trilogy is not considered part of this "universe"), the designers were able to start from scratch and do something. Snyder and his team succeeding in creating a Batman that is differentiated from all the others that have come before. The book too features Batman'south many gadgets and weapons, his mech conform, as well equally the Batmobile and Batwing.

The book also takes a brief look at the other characters in the motion-picture show - Lex Luthor, Doomsday, and of course Wonder Woman. The challenge beyond the board was to take inspiration from the comics, but make the designs unique and interesting for the large screen. A few key scene in the picture are also detailed, including the fight between Batman & Superman, and likewise the Knightmare sequence.

The imagery in the volume is outstanding. It's by and large sketches and conceptual artwork. Merely there are besides some production photos and some stills from the completed moving picture. If you are interested in this film and enjoy Snyder's visual manner, and so you'll probably relish this book.

A stunning look into
the development of the unique
visual styles from the groundbreaking motion picture
From the locations to the clothes
to the props
we see all the care
that went into the smallest detail
an attempt that played no pocket-sized
part in the brilliance of the film

A corking backside-the-scenes look at the picture through concept and panel fine art. I felt nostalgic to reading this despite the pic coming out nearly three years agone.

Nice art for a relentlessly ugly motion picture.

There are a few intrigue insights and early concept drawings, but this "Art of the Film" book is more an abbreviated making of the pic, general production volume. Batman v Superman was probably one of the worser superhero films out there. Then, with the Batman five Superman: Ultimate Edition being released presently, I thought I would do a review of this.

As you lot might be able to tell, I was pretty excited for this book, based on one of my favourite aspects of the film. 'The Fine art Of The Film' is there, and what there is is great, merely I just wish there was peradventure a piffling bit more than of it. Maybe some more concept artwork over some of the stills of the film. The other stuff is bang-up too, and you tin can tell that downwards to the layout of the Batcave that mayhap Snyder wasn't to arraign for it non beingness received very well. It's a really nice book and a bang-up sort of collector'south particular, but I just wish there was a trivial more artwork.

A nice big sumptous fine art volume with both lovely photos, drawings, stills and storyboards from the flick. Batman v Superman wasn't an astonishing moving-picture show. On the other manus information technology did manage to be entertaining and I don't actually agree with all the criticism information technology received.
The art book for the movie is skilful, just it isn't great. My main gripe is that it has a lot of photos and stills from the film, and non equally much concept and production art as I would have liked. What's ther is really good, I just wish there was more.

I love this blazon of fine art book, it's always fascinating to meet the concept designs and sketches for costumes, sets, and characters. I wish there was more on Wonder Woman and work ups for the other characters who had cameos, but otherwise I accept no complaints. Recommends information technology for: DC fan, motility picture fan
Very nicely washed book of the Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice. Goes to each character, details on the batcave, batmobile and batwing. Excellent pictures.

I was expecting a lot more artwork and so BTS photos, and it has more stills from the movies than bodily artwork or bts photos. Although the artwork that is in the volume is pretty on-betoken.
